Creative Stitches & Hobbycrafts @ Aintree Racecourse 23rd - 25th April

This is the third year Creative Stitches & Hobbycrafts has visited Aintree Racecourse, and the first day today was busier than ever!
Affordable Sewing Machines from Moreton in the Wirral, are exhibiting Janome machines, and Gim, pictured below, from the shop was on hand to help with any Janome questions. Gim also runs workshops and classes from the shop and has a Janome MC11000 at home, so she is a genuine fan of the machines! Check out the shops website for more information.
Our new Breast Cancer Campaign machine looks pretty in pink, has thirty useful and decorative stitches, including a range of one step button holes and Janome have donated £10,000 toward the Charity. Below, you can see we have been playing with the Circular Attachment & decorative stitches, this is a wonderful way to embellish clothing and soft furnishings.
There are two versions of the Circular Attachment, depending which machine you have, follow the link below to see the one that will fit your Janome machine.

This piece won First Prize in the Maderia Competition, and I thought it looked so unusual I wanted to share it with you.
Congratulation to Sue Rowland.

The show is on until Sunday 25th April, so if you are local to the Liverpool area, why not pop in? Or check out the website for other Creative Stitches Exhibitions in the UK.
